Native Maine Produce & Specialty Foods Donation Criteria

Here at Native Maine we recognize that the communities in which we live and work directly contribute to our success. In return, we focus our community efforts with which we have a local business or shared connection.

Our company selects these opportunities based on how they reflect or support the business priorities and values of Native Maine Produce & Specialty Foods (NMPSF), its owners and employees. Common recipients of our donations are: food banks, medical research services, food service educational scholarships and diverse public events that our wholesale customers are supporting.

Throughout the year, NMPSF receives many requests from schools, non-profit organizations, foundations and community groups. If you are interested in making a request for a donation, below are our guidelines.

  1. Donations will only be made to non-profit and charitable organizations and/or current customers of NMPSF within the state of Maine.
  2. All requests must be received in writing via this website's Contact Form for Troy Andrews and must be at least 2 weeks prior to the event. We cannot accept requests via postal mail, phone, fax or in person.
  3. Requests should include all event details:
    1. Date and Time of the event.
    2. The organization's non-profit Tax ID Number (if applicable).
    3. Contact Name, Title, Phone Number and Email Address.
  4. In order to fill as many requests as possible, we will only provide one item per organization per calendar year.
  5. Current customers of NMPSF who are requesting a donation should make this fact known in the initial contact email to receive preferential treatment.
Thank you for honoring our Donation Request Guidelines and we hope all your community events are successful to your cause.
