Are you creative with food? Do you have a knack for creating memorable visual displays? Do you want to be part of a creative volunteer team that will help design and implement a massive promotional product display promoting “Native Maine” at the Maine Restaurant Association’s Annual Trade Show, Expo 2010, held at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Wednesday March 31st?

Native Maine is a multi-year award winning exhibitor and has been recognized at many industry trade shows for our creative visual displays of food which highlight our local products and services.  We have always managed these events “in-house” but now invite our customers and friends to share in this awesome annual event.

What does being a creative volunteer

for this project entail?

1. On Monday January 18^th from 2-4pm we will have an initial informal, brainstorming “meeting of the minds” in the Native Maine conference room (10 Bradley Drive, Westbrook) to develop ideas for a promotional event theme, potential event product/display ideas, creative uses of food for the  display, etc. etc.
2. Based on this initial meeting we will set up two more “creative meetings” as we bring to life our collective ideas.
3. On March 31^st, from 7am-10am, any volunteer that is available is invited to be at the event, implementing our plans together with the NMP sales/marketing staff….and hopefully sharing our win for “Best Booth” in person!  This is a lot of fun.

Although we can’t pay you cash for your assistance with this event, we will be sure you are recognized as a volunteer, provide you with free admission to the restaurant show and present you with a certificate of appreciation for your service and even provide you with an award plaque (copy of the official trophy), if (when) we win.
